Hi Everybody! Since I plan on talking about planning so much in this blog, I decided it was probably a good idea to give you a "tour" of my planner! I have an 18 month, vertical Erin Condren Life Planner (ECLP). I bought it back in June, but I've always had some sort of planner with me. I decided to splurge on this one after I saw so many Plan With Me's on YouTube. It seemed like it was so easy to organize your life with it! So, here it is!
This is a picture of my cover. I had it personalized, so it took a little bit longer to ship to me. It was definitely worth the wait though! Coral is one of my favorite colors, so I really wanted to incorporate that with my planner.
Everybody organizes the monthly view of their planner differently, but this is how I organize mine. I basically just acknowledge when all of our bills our due, and when Corey gets paid. I mark when I get paid in my weekly view, since it pertains more to me. The different colors of the stickers don't really mean anything... I just ran out of green stickers. We obviously have too many bills! :P
The first time I actually decorated my planner was the week of 4th of July. I don't think it turned out too bad, but I've definitely gotten better since then!
These two pictures (below) are examples of how more recent weeks have looked. They're a little more organized, and the colors are more coordinated. However, I still have a little bit of trouble remembering to fill in certain things throughout the week, one of which is my steps that I track with my FitBit. These things will improve with time though!
One very important thing that I do before every week is pre-planning! Before I write anything into my planner, I write it on a post-it note. This allows me to move things around, and add others if I need to! If something is cancelled, it also allows me to remove it easily from my weekly view.
There are plenty more things I can show you with my ECLP, but I'll save that for another day. I don't want to make this post too long! If you have any suggestions of how I could better utilize my planner, let me know in the comments! Have a good night!
