What a weekend! It was so much fun!
It kind of started on Wednesday. I didn't do much besides puppy-sit and hang out with my sister-in-law. We just went and had lunch, then went to Michael's to look around. Kaylyn loves watching funny videos on Vine and YouTube, so we did that for about two hours too. I also ended up going to a drag racing event at the Silverdome. It was pretty sweet to see an event being held there!
On Thursday, I didn't do much either. Besides puppy-sitting I just hung out around my house, and went to a park with my friend, Danielle, and her other friend. They were both nannying, but unfortunately I didn't have my girls. :( One other thing that may be worth mentioning is that I was on the lookout for "Not Your Father's Root Beer." I went to at least three different liquor stores, and couldn't find any! I finally settled on a hard root beer that is made from the Coney Island brand. It tastes pretty good, but I'm still looking for NYFRB.
Friday, Corey kind of had the day off. He had a dentist appointment at 9am, then we had breakfast and did some clothes shopping for him. He's been losing weight, so the clothes he has don't fit him as well anymore (exciting!!). After that, Cor had to go to work for a little bit, then I decided to go clothes shopping for myself. I'm super picky about my clothes, so I only ended up buying a pair of jeans and a shirt. We were supposed to go to my future-sister-in-law's birthday party later that night, but Corey didn't get home from work until about 8 so we missed it. When he got home, we ate dinner and cruised Woodward for a bit!
The entire day Saturday was spent on Woodward. We went and had lunch with my Dad, then hung out with three of Corey's really good friends while we cruised. It was a ton of fun!
Today was a decently lazy day. We went to breakfast at a diner in Oxford, then hung out at Corey's parent's house for a few hours. We left around three, then headed to my Dad's house to celebrate my brother's birthday. It was nice spending time with my family! When we got home, we did a quick cleaning of the house, and now we're relaxing.
Overall, it was a great weekend! Next weekend should be fun too. Saturday we're going to the Renaissance Festival with my in-laws, and Sunday we're going to the tractor/truck pulls at the Armada Fair! We might be taking Kaylyn, so it will give me an excuse to ride the rides (haha)!
